How the estimate works
Queensland charges light-vehicle rego by cylinder count, plus a flat traffic improvement fee and your CTP premium. This calculator applies the exact figures from the official schedule in force since 1 July 2026 — the same numbers as our full cost tables. For 3 or 6-month terms (which add a surcharge), duty on a purchase, or non-private use, the official TMR quote tool gives the personalised figure.
